I’m a performance artist looking for entertainment media coverage and/or event promotion. Is Bitesize PR right for me?

Unfortunately, entertainment media coverage such as artist profiles and reviews or event promotion do not fall within the context of our services. Our service works best for businesses, organizations and entrepreneurs.

I’m looking specifically for local coverage. Is Bitesize PR right for me?

Although our press opportunities do range from national to local, there is a large emphasis on national distribution. If you are looking for local coverage only, Bitesize PR may not be right for you.

What happens after I sign up?

You will receive a confirmation email after signing up, and you’ll be able to see all the opportunities in real-time. When you see an opportunity that is a good fit, simply respond to the journalist. If the reporter thinks you’re a good match for their story, they will contact you directly.

How do I find and keep track of specific types of press opportunities I am looking for?

1. Do a search in the search bar for keywords that are relevant to you.
2. Click “save search”
3. If you want to be alerted when any opportunity matches this keyword, click “create alert” and select your alert type.

What makes a press pitch successful?

There are two golden rules for pitch success: relevancy and timing. Media professionals scan through pitches quickly, looking for those that are professional, well-written and most relevant to their query. They will often go with the first few qualified sources that they come across. What can I do to make my pitches more successful?

Ultimately, the decision for who gets media placement is in the hands of the reporter – sometimes it takes awhile to get press as not all pitches get placement. The amount of press varies based on how good your responses are and how many you write. Responding with quality responses consistently will give you a really good chance of getting press.
